Author Books Reading & Signing

Please join us on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. in the Museum Store for a book reading and meet & greet with author Eric Abramian!

Abramian's recent children's book, Pierre the Umbrella, introduces children to a vibrant world of art, culture and creativity. Ranked #1 on Amazon New Release in Children's European Fiction. A book about an intrepid umbrella. A lesson to us all that art means feeling part of something larger than oneself.

We are now considering vendors for online trunk shows and auctions.

The Museum Store aims to support the galleries and programming through store proceeds. The Santa Barbara Museum of Art Museum Store offers a curated mix of original products by innovative designers and regional artisans with a wide range of price points. Items crafted in California, especially in Santa Barbara and nearby vicinities are given priority consideration. Items must reflect the values and mission of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art.

Please note-we do not accept or sell any original artwork inside the Museum Store. All items must be functional artisanal crafts, wearable fashion and jewelry, gift, children's toys, games, book or design centric products. Specific criteria is thoroughly reviewed while considering possible vendors for events. This criteria includes relevancy to artworks inside our galleries, profit margins and revenue potential, current trends and customer demands.

If you are a designer, author or craft artisan located in or near Santa Barbara, CA and interested in coordinating an online trunk show, auction or future in-person event please e-mail sbmastore@sbma.net and tell us a little bit about yourself. Please include website information or photos, costs, and where products are made.
