Created by artist Justin Bjorn Iversen, BJØRN is a California-based husband-and-wife studio producing sculptural wood vessels and functional objects. The work is tactile and organic, designed as fine craft and sculptural focal points rather than mass-produced décor. BJØRN vases have also been displayed at the Gamble House.
Each piece is made by hand as a sculptural form, not turned on a lathe or CNC-machined, so no two are ever exactly the same. You’ll see natural variations in shape, size, and grain...those little differences are part of what makes each one special. Every vase is carefully hand-sanded and finished with Danish oil and polyurethane to bring out the wood’s natural warmth and character.
