This Monet Roman Road at Bordighera journal, combines high-quality production with magnificent art. Perfect as a gift, for writers, notetakers, travelers, students, poets and diarists. The covers are printed on foil paper, embossed, then foil stamped, and are  complemented by the luxury binding and rose red end-papers.

Fascinated with color and the changing of light, Monet travelled to a number of locations across Europe. He first arrived in Bordighera, a town in the Province of Imperia, Italy, in 1883 during a trip to the Mediterranean coast with friend and fellow painter Auguste Renoir. He returned to Bordighera in 1884 and stayed for three months. It was during this visit, captivated by the incredible blue skies, that he created this beautiful painting.
