Filled with swirling patterns in jewel tones and gold, Gustav Klimt’s exotic paintings of women epitomize the Austrian art nouveau movement known as the Vienna Secession. Portraits of women from Vienna’s social elite would come to dominate his career, but he also produced daring landscapes.
Included in this 2021 monthly calendar of twelve images are two designs for the Stoclet Frieze, perhaps the highlight of Klimt’s artistic output. This calendar is 12" x 13" and opens to 12" x 26". It is printed with soy-based inks on FSC® certified paper, which means the paper has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council®.
