Edward Hopper built his paintings around light. “I like long shadows and early and late sunlight,” he said. “I am very much interested in . . . trying to paint sunlight without eliminating the form under it, if I can.” His subject focal point was American life, and he traveled throughout the country for more than forty years, recording everyday views of people and their surroundings.
Presented in this calendar are twelve of Hopper’s sunlit paintings, featuring both rural and urban scenes. This calendar is 12" x 13" and opens to 12" x 26". It is printed with soy-based inks on FSC® certified paper, which means the paper has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council®.
