The origins of the Krama tradition in Cambodia are unknown, but over the years this unique textile has become a Cambonian symbol and a major part of the Khmer identity. Today, Cambodians use Krama everyday as scarves, swaddles, and bandanas.

The Warm Krama pattern, comprised of stacked rhombuses, is worn during festivals and ceremonies that take place at the Royal Palace.

Krama Heritage's workshops are located in Takeo province south of Phnom Penh. Their Kramas are entirely hand-woven in half a day by a team of 25 weavers. A group of 10 craftswomen braid the acommpanying palm leaf canisters. All workers are employed under ethical and fair conditions.

Dimensions: 180 cm by 45 cm. Material: 100% cotton.
